LPDR 07 ELI WINTER UNBECOMING LP 02.2021

1 Either I Would Become Ash
        2 Maroon
        3 Dark Light

Touted as one to watch for 2020 - the year that barely happened - Eli Winter will
be hoping that 2021 bears more fruit. The virtuoso guitarist has already toured with
the more grizzled likes of David Grubbs and Ryley Walker, and here he delivers an
ambitious work that builds on his well-regarded debut 'The Time To Come'.

LPDR 09 BRETT NAUCKE EMS HALLUCINATIONS LP 02.2021

1 Stereo Variations For Buchla 200 Series Synthesizer
2 Stereo Variations For Buchla 200 Series & Serge Synthesizer Systems

The result of a week-long residency at the Elektronmusikstudion in Stockholm in 2020,
Brett Naucke tried to consciously create ‘EMS Hallucinations’ with the same sense of
wonderment at endless possibilities as the first musicians to use these technologies
had in the Seventies. Two side-long pieces created with the Buchla 200 Series and
Serge Modular systems, there are prototype traces of modern forms of dance music
everywhere.

LPADR 12 JORDAN REYES SAND LIKE STARDUST LP 02.2021

        1 The Pre-Dawn Light
        2 Drifter
        3 High Noon
        4 Dusted
        5 An Unkindness
        6 A Hard Ride
        7 A Grain Of Sand
        8 Rebirth At Dusk
        9 As The Sun Dips

‘Sand Like Stardust’ by Chicago-based experimental musician Jordan Reyes is a highly
original wander through folk traditions and underground electronic music.
Reyes changed his approach here from his modular synth work on previous album
‘Close’. All the instruments - various guitars, synths and electronic drums are
played by hand which Reyes says makes it a warmer, more immediate LP with a certain
vulnerability.

LPADR 14 JON MUELLER FAMILY SECRET LP 02.2021

        1 Whose Emptiness
        2 Black Glass
        3 Ignited Hands
        4 Welcome

American percussionist Jon Mueller - a member of Mind Over Mirrors, Volcano Choir
and Within Things - delivers a beguiling solo album in ‘Family Secret’. Over these
four tracks, he revisits a creative technique he developed as a teenager of placing
himself in unfamiliar situations to record, resulting in a beautifully textured
album of experimental music.

LPADR 17 CAMERON KNOWLER+ELI WINTER : ANTICIPATION LP 03.2021
CDADR 17 CAMERON KNOWLER+ELI WINTER : ANTICIPATION CD 03.2021

‘Anticipation’ is the first collaboration between guitarists Cameron Knowler & Eli
Winter. The pair blend folk and avant-garde music on a beautiful collection of guitar
duets. They take their inspiration from US folk and country guitarist Norman Blake
(not the Teenage Fanclub guy), American primitive guitarist Daniel Bachman and former
Pelt guitarist Jack Rose.

LPADR 18 CLAIRE ROUSAY A SOFTER FOCUS LP 04.2021

‘A Softer Focus’ sees experimental musician Claire Rousay eschewing her defiantly
non-melodic approach to create an LP that is lush and melodic. The LP is a
collaboration with visual artist Dani Toral whose use of colour and comfort in her
work inspired Rousay’s journey towards making an LP of melodic soundscapes.
